A few weeks ago, our team completed an exceptional filming at Angers University Hospital: the closure of the left atrial appendage (LAA) using the ICE method. This innovative procedure is distinguished by its reduced duration, performed under local anesthesia, and by its precision allowing a safe and less invasive procedure. Two inspiring figures have left their mark on our team: Doctor Abi Khalil Wissam , specialist at the Functional Unit Thoracic Pain Center in the Cardiology Department of Angers University Hospital, and Professor Ole de Backer , Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University of Copenhagen. Their expertise, their mastery and above all their warm welcome deeply impressed and motivated us.
