Artificial Intelligence improvises with musicians
Improtech is an international festival dedicated to musical improvisation and artificial intelligence. For IRCAM, we created a series of immersive films shot in Athens, combining concert footage and interviews with artists and researchers from around the world.
The project
Improtech is a unique festival dedicated to technologically enhanced musical improvisation. Organized in Athens by IRCAM, it brings together musicians, composers, and researchers to explore the interaction between humans and machines in musical creation. We designed and produced three live concert recordings as well as a series of exclusive interviews with key festival participants—professors, engineers, and artists.
The filming setup combined steadicam and multi-camera to provide total immersion in the richness of the performances.
These films illustrate our expertise in capturing emotion, research, and innovation in a single visual experience. Improtech demonstrates our commitment to promoting culture, research, and new artistic forms through images.
The project team
