When music, research and heritage meet
For over a year, we followed Sorbonne University's Collegium Musicæ at Fontevraud Abbey to produce a documentary on the musical creation "Libre Comme" composed by Jean-Yves Bernhard. This ambitious project, combining heritage, art, and research, was recognized by a selection at the Venice Beach Fine Art Film Festival.
This documentary project, led by Sorbonne University, took us to Fontevraud Abbey for a unique artistic residency. Combining heritage and musical innovation, we supported the Collegium Musicæ in the creation of the choral work "Libre Comme" by Jean-Yves Bernhard, performed by the Sorbonne University Choir. Thanks to an experienced film crew and our expertise in documentary storytelling, we captured the energy of this artistic adventure, from rehearsals to the final performance. The film highlights the synergy between researchers, musicians, and historians in a place steeped in history. This visual work, selected for the Venice Beach Fine Art Film Festival, illustrates our ability to create cultural films with high heritage value, combining emotion, transmission, and artistic rigor.
